CHERRY HILL, N.J. (April 29, 2026)—VOIP Networks, a Mitel Platinum Partner and Mitel-exclusive provider of unified communications (UC) solutions, today announced the acquisition of Telcom Innovations Group’s (TIG) Mitel customer base. TIG is a Chicago-based Mitel channel partner known for its technical expertise, complex deployments, and longstanding commitment to customer support.
For nearly three decades, TIG has supported organizations with sophisticated communications and networking environments that depend on reliability, responsiveness, and long-term operational continuity. The acquisition reflects a shared commitment to customer relationships, technical support, and communications strategy.
As part of VOIP Networks, TIG customers will continue receiving exemplary support for their existing Mitel UC systems while gaining access to expanded artificial intelligence (AI) applications, carrier services, and infrastructure services, including SIP trunking, SD-WAN, dedicated voice circuits, internet connectivity, as well as 100% U.S.-based, Mitel-certified technical support.
For organizations evaluating hybrid or cloud-based UC strategies, VOIP Networks provides a Mitel-managed private cloud solution built exclusively on and for Mitel communications environments, designed to provide organizations with greater security, flexibility, reliability, and control over their communications infrastructure. Customers can transition from on-premises systems through phased deployments or complete cloud transitions, based on their operational requirements, internal resources, security considerations, and long-term communications goals.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the TIG team and their customers to VOIP Networks,” said Chuck Reagan, President and CEO of VOIP Networks. “TIG has built an outstanding reputation for technical expertise and customer support, and just as importantly, our organizations share a similar culture and customer-first mindset. We’re excited to bring our teams together and continue providing the responsive support and technical expertise our customers rely on.”
Both organizations also share extensive experience supporting state and local government, education, healthcare, and enterprise environments with complex operational and communications requirements.
“Our customers depend on stable, reliable communications and responsive support,” said Bridget Baker, President at TIG. “VOIP Networks brings expanded infrastructure capabilities, deep Mitel expertise, and broader resources that will support our customers well into the future. We’re confident this transition will create long-term benefits for our customers and employees alike.”
