A hybrid workforce requires a high-performance communications system. Seamless communication, no matter where workers are, calls for a robust, scalable, flexible system with redundancy and safeguards from beginning to end.

If clients can’t communicate when and how they want, the client’s problem immediately becomes the channel partner’s problem.

The best way to avoid issues is to choose the right platform before any issues occur. The Cloud9 Infrastructure platform is built to support even the most demanding hybrid workforces.

The Growing Calls for Hybrid

Whether companies are pushing a return to the office or not, workers have made their opinion clear: a recent survey shows that they far prefer a hybrid schedule that includes working from home or some other remote location, rather than being in the office five days a week.

Their customers, however, expect the same level of responsiveness and service regardless of the workers’ location. That means a hybrid system must provide the same reliability and ability to quickly access and share information everywhere.

That means a secure, scalable platform that allows workers to use the latest collaboration tools as if they were all sitting next to each other.

Cloud9 Infrastructure: Security and Flexibility from the Ground Up

Cloud9 Infrastructure offers a more secure, scalable, and flexible managed private cloud solution for on-site, hybrid, and remote workforces because of three important factors:

  • The platform
  • The architecture
  • The support

Here’s how those three factors make Cloud9 Infrastructure the best solution for channel partners and their clients.

The Platform

Cloud9 Infrastructure is housed in Equinix data centers, one of the world’s largest infrastructure companies with a Tier III+ data center ranking.

After in-depth due diligence, there was no question about the best data centers for Cloud9 Infrastructure.

The Architecture

The virtual servers in any data center can be allocated and managed in two ways: multi-tenant or multi-instance.

Multi-tenant, where organizations share virtual servers, costs less. Think of it as an apartment building where multiple tenants inhabit a building. Because they share the costs of repairs, maintenance, and operations, each one pays less. But the landlord, not the tenants, decides when to cut the grass or upgrade the HVAC.

On multi-tenant servers, users have no say in when operating systems are upgraded or downgraded, or how the performance is managed. Also, users are inherently less secure because, once a hacker gains access to one company’s account, every other organization on those servers is at risk.

With a multi-instance architecture (like Cloud9 Infrastructure provides), each organization has its own unique, dedicated virtual servers. The organization has complete control over applications, operating systems, and every other aspect of the system. Your clients can essentially do what they want when they want.

No resources are shared with other organizations, and hackers who compromise another organization’s virtual servers have no access.

For maximum reliability, Cloud9 Infrastructure uses multiple virtual servers per unique application, located in two separate, geo-redundant (active/active) data centers to host Mitel’s MiVoice Business (MiVB) and associated Mitel applications, with automatic failover if one server has any issues. This type of architecture supports the entire suite of Mitel applications, including MiCollab, Mitel Interaction Recording (MIR), Mitel Revolution, Mitel Contact Center (MiCC), etc. Data centers are geographically independent, so even in the event of a large-scale natural disaster, a data center will continue operating at full efficiency.

The Support

Cloud9 Infrastructure offers an end-to-end, turnkey solution that increases the value you bring to your clients using your MiVB licenses. We provide white-glove, U.S.-based support around the clock, 7 days per week, to Mitel channel partners. As a Mitel Platinum Partner and a Mitel-exclusive partner, fully endorsed by Mitel, Cloud9 Infrastructure can provide the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) you and your clients need while you retain and manage the client relationship.

We can supplement your team with behind-the-scenes remote technical support, custom programming, and any service you require.  We can manage billing, compliance, and all other details, or step in as needed.
