Chief Technology Officer John Collins has more than 22 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industries. Since starting his career as a field technician, he has accrued a broad and deep knowledge base that includes data center design, wholesale carrier services, networking infrastructure, sales engineering, and business management.
John joined VoIP Networks in 2005 as a sales engineer. In 2010 he transitioned to his current role after helping grow the organization and launching the Cloud 9 hosted service.
John partners with every department at VOIP Networks to support the ongoing evolution of the organization. Some of his roles include working with sales, marketing, and operations to define and deliver new products that enhance the firm’s portfolio. He also collaborates with sales and technical engineers to ensure effective design, deployment, and ongoing implementation of client solutions.
He is certified in Mitel’s entire portfolio and holds many IT certifications, in both technical and sales paths.
In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
